Oscar (Oz) Stuckey started singing in groups at Hollidaysburg High School in 10th grade. His music teacher had him sing in a folk group. the mixed chorus and a barbershop quartet. He participated in 2 County, 2 District and 1 Regional State Chorus Concerts.

After graduation, he entered the Army. While serving in Germany, he was assigned to Special Services and traveled Europe for 18 months singing in the Marne Glee Club chorus.

After an Honorable Dischage from the Army, he joined the Altoona Choral Society and the Keystone Chorale (later called The Blair Concert Chorale.)

He has also performed on stage in 40 shows with The Altoona Community Theatre, Cresson Lake Playhouse and Tyrone Community Players.

He has been singing in the Altoona Horseshoe Chorus (Barbershop) for 25 years, and performed with the “Sentimental Favorites” and “Holliday Harmonizers” barbershop quartets.
