THE HONEST STORY OF WHY THE SHARPTONES SPLIT UP!

Oz and Denny started the SharpTones in 2006 as a joint venture with equal partnership, contrary to how it reads on the his web site. In December or January, Denny and his wife bought new equipment so he would have complete control over distribution of monies paid to the group. He said to Oz, "Why should I pay you $100 a show when I can pay someone else $50?" What he didn't take into account was that Oz sang every third song and backed up Denny on 90% of his songs and 50% on Lorelei's songs. It got to the point that Oz had little time to even have a drink. One Pepsi lasted all night with some still left in the glass. Obviously Denny values money over Loyalty and Friendship. Denny has misrepresented the facts of the groups origin and has been spreading lies about Oz's departure from the group, stating Oz was too sickly to continue performing. Let me assure you THAT IS NOT TRUE. Come see "Oz and The SharpTones" on August 10th at the Canal Basin Ampitheatre in Hollidaysburg. Showtimes are: 11 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 2 pm.
